Many have asked how to located classes to prepare me for my Amateur Radio License.
For the most part, this is a self study method and students can either enroll in an extended class or a 2 day class over a weekend depending on how local radio clubs prefer to teach.
The American Radio Relay League has a great page to help you find a class in your area.

An excellent resource for self paced study that includes practice tests is a site called www.hamstudy.org and the best part is it is absolutely free! I was able to spend a week of evenings running through all the questions and then taking practice exams, by Saturday when I went to take the exam, I almost scored 100% on the Technicians exam. The software also will prepare you for the General and Extra exams as well. I was lucky enough to meet the man that put this great tool together, I thanked him profusely and you will too if you use it! Good luck, 73's
